Many conventional fitness programs fail to work the body and mind as a whole, either over-working or over-stretching the body, causing injuries. Pilates was initially developed as a therapeutic program to strengthen and balance the musculoskeletal system. Pilates is a unique form of exercise and mobility which is a vital ingredient to spinal health, mainly consisting of core stability and control, full-body strengthening, while focusing on proper alignment /quality of movement. At My Happy Place (MHP), we help our students regain their strength, alleviate the pain, enhance their posture, and restore ease of movement in the joints.

Pilates consists of a “body-mind” (physical and mental) conditioning.
